Sr. Installation Manager

Remote - SAN ANTONIO, TX

THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION.  Walton Signage is a well-respected, innovative company in the signage industry. The Company serves large, national or corporate accounts with turnkey installation of high quality signage systems and has been listed several times as one of Inc. We are currently recruiting for a SR INSTALLATION MANAGER for supporting the company achieve its best installation margins, winning new business by negotiating best vendor costs, providing problem-solving support, and assisting in resolution.  Ways of Being for this position include the following:  in integrity, self-starter, comes with solutions, creates an empowering space for others, thinking in possibility, coachable, gracious.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide most competitive RFP cost for installation
  • Improve install margins on existing accounts, to include vendor selection and negotiations to obtain highest margin   
        possible
  • Improve site-specific margins as needed
  • Quality/Performance Resolution and/or solutions for installation and warranty
  • Sourcing of new scopes of work to support current needs and to plan ahead for growth and future needs
  • Knowledge and communication of best vendors for scope(s) of work
  • Ensure POs go to appropriate installation vendors for sign type and scope of work
  • Create part numbers with valid installation costs
  • Address field site issues to have no additional costs
  • Set install costs for existing clients by part number/product type, including any new/custom product as needs arise
  • Build and maintain installation vendor relations
  • Vendor negotiations
